This course prepares trainers/group instructors (Pilates, Yoga, TRX, Body Pump, etc..) and allied health/medical professionals to assess and educate theirs client in all areas of posture and body alignment. The lecture develops a logical flow and sequence to understand, analyze, and assess a client/patients posture and body in an easy to follow manner. Participants will be educated in the following:  How to implement this essential key assessment into their facility or organizations current health and exercise testing program, review how poor posture and body alignment develop and evaluates the anatomical structures of the vertebral column and other extremities using a Posture and Body Alignment Grid and client/patient evaluation sheet and techniques to analyze and evaluate body alignment, posture, and muscle fiber direction, how to assess and organize your posture assessment protocols and procedures. This course is 70% lecture and 30% interactive hands-on training. A hands-on approach is used for demonstrations and experiential learning in small group settings.
