Abbie Appel – Abbie Appel is a renowned fitness educator and an award-winning presenter. She was voted by Canadian Fitness Professionals as Best New Presenter of 2012 and voted by ECA as Best All-Around Female Presenter of 2013.

Connie Borho – Yoga Alliance RTY-500.  A practicing Yogini for over 40 years, Connie has studied extensively with Beryl Bender Birch and is certified through The Hard & The Soft Yoga School in Astanga Yoga.  She has also studied with Todd Norian and is a certified Anusara-inspired Yoga teacher, specializing in alignment and hands-on assists.  With over 30 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Connie holds certifications through AFAA, ACE, NASM, PMA, Peak Pilates, and PhysicalMind. Known as a “teacher’s teacher”, Connie is a well-respected, dynamic, knowledgeable presenter for international fitness conferences, is passionate about providing the highest quality of training for teachers in the mind/body field, and to teaching the benefits and nuances of mind-body fitness.  Connie is Owner of Balance Pilates & Yoga Center, located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. 

LAUREN BUCKNER – Lauren Buckner is the owner of Body By Buckner, a boutique fitness company located in the heart of DC where she specializes in customized, small group training. As a competitive collegiate track and field sprinter and professional dancer in both the U.S. and South America, Lauren brings a unique flare to the area of health and wellness. Lauren’s training style is diverse, ranging from high energetic dynamic workouts that combine circuit and interval training with plyometric sports drills to low impact mat workouts that fuse cardio and elements of yoga.

Lauren is also a Brand Ambassador for Athleta, an international female fitness company whose mission is to empower young girls and women. Through her platform as an Athleta Brand Ambassador, Lauren shares her passion of fitness and nutrition with young girls and women and provides fitness classes and self-care workshops. Lauren is a licensed AFAA certified group fitness instructor and a 200 HR Yoga Registered Teacher.

Becky Conser – is a Group Exercise Expert and a Career Professional with 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as an instructor, manager, Master Trainer and mentor. Her experience has lead her to a full time position as a Studio Manager and Barre Suite Master Trainer for Life Time where she develops her own team and manages the Life Time Brands within the newest DC Location. She also works closely with Virtual studios and has created a training ground for instructors trying to navigate where the industry is headed in the coming years
Megan Cooperman M.Ed. – Megan, from Maryland, is a seasoned fitness pro with 20 years of experience in the fitness industry from instructor to group fitness director. She has taught various fitness formats, but her ALL TIME FAVORITE is LaBlast Fitness. Megan has a master’s degree in counseling, which has been very valuable while working in the fitness industry, and is certified by the Aerobics & Fitness Association of American (AFAA), American Council on Exercise(ACE), and Aquatics Exercise Association (AEA). She looks forward to sharing LaBlast with you!

Kathryn Coyle – is a Peak Pilates® Level III Senior Master Instructor and MVe® Instructor Trainer. She has over 15 years of Pilates teaching experience and uses the Pilates system for prehab, rehab and performance enhancement. She is a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a Jivamukti Certified Yoga Instructor.

Laurie Denomme – Kinesiologist and Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute, is an international fitness educator and founder of WECOACH.  She is the recipient of the 2013 AEA Global Aquatic Fitness Professional Award and 2014 ATRI Tsunami Spirit Award.

Carmen Diges – Spinning® Master Instructor Carmen Diges has been coaching athletes of all levels for over 20 years. Using her bike racing background, and the holistic principles of PinstripeMystic, her coaching company, Carmen’s forte is balancing her athletes with scientific and experiential training methods. She is a CHEK HLC Level 2 practitioner and is working on her Canadian National Cycling credentials. Carmen is a member of the Power Specialist Master Instructor Team for Spinning®. Power to the people!

Amy Dixon – A dynamic fitness instructor and celebrity trainer, AMY DIXON holds multiple fitness certifications and a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology. She’s the Senior Creative Manager of Group Fitness Programming at Equinox Fitness Clubs and recent winner of the IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year Award, widely known as the fitness industry’s most prestigious recognition. Marrin Ellis – is a Personal Trainer and Performance Coach and also Founder/Owner of Divine Design Fitness based out of Dallas, TX. Over the past 15 years Marrin has been able to help clients with various goals and backgrounds. From clients who just want to transform their lives and their bodies to helping NBA athletes prepare for their upcoming season, the common denominator is “Marrin will get results.

Marrin earned his degree in Biology and Chemistry from Benedict College in South Carolina where he was also a scholarship athlete participating in football and track and field. Combining his studies in the classroom and implementing new knowledge on the gridiron and track sparked his passion for personal training and sports performance.
Marrin founded Divine Design Fitness to help not only assist others in getting in-shape and live a healthier lifestyle but he also takes the time to motivate and inspire everyone he comes in contact with to achieve their dreams which are in line with their purpose. Lauren Eirk –Lauren Eirk, MS, is founder of Yoga Integrated Science, a 500 hour Registered Yoga School that offers a unique, sound, biomechancial approach to Hatha Yoga designed to respect joint structure while improving muscle responsivity and strength    She is a certified E-RYT 500 level Yoga Instructor, Certified Yoga Therapist C-IAYT, and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), with over 35 years of teaching experience. Elizebeth Ellison – Elizebeth’s career in the fitness industry began as an ACE certified personal trainer and her interest in Pilates initially began as a pursuit to discover how Pilates could help improve her father’s golf game. Elizebeth became fascinated by the STOTT PILATES® approach and its accessibility for all levels. She then expanded on her fitness education to include becoming a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor in 2004 and then a Merrithew™ Lead Instructor Trainer specializing in STOTT PILATES. In 2009, Elizebeth received the distinction of Merrithew IT Rookie of the Year. Her fascination and dedication to continuing education inspires her to continuously learn more about the discipline.



Sonja Friend-Uhl – is a world-class athlete and skilled fitness programmer. She has more than 17 years of experience in the fitness industry and holds Certifications with USATF, ACSM and AFAA as well as AFAA specialty certifications in Youth, Senior, and Pre-Natal Fitness.  A Master Trainer for Core Health & Fitness, Sonja conducts certifications globally for BoxMaster, HumanSport and the HIIT Mix Programs.  Sonja is also a professional runner and holds multiple records. Sonja also prioritizes her role as wife and mother in addition to her fitness career and competitive endeavors.

Nico Gonzalez – ACE, PMA-CPT Owner of Fitness Physiques, creator of the online space “3 Minutes 2 B”, and stars in multiple fitness and mind/body videos. Nico is a Master Trainer for Balanced Body, BOSU and Hedstrom Fitness. Certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in personal training and group fitness and the Pilates Method Alliance for Pilates Training. He has been in the industry over 20 years, traveling across the USA and beyond presenting at respected conferences such as IDEA World Convention, IDEA Personal Trainer Summit (USA), Pilates On Tour (USA), SCW Fitness (USA), Can-Fit-Pro (Canada), Fitnesslandia (Italy), World Class Fitness (Russia), and Pilates Chile (South America).  Many trainers continue to ask for his practical approach to instruction and easy to follow formulas of success.

Jennifer Henson – Jenn Henson has been dedicated to fitness for 10 years. She is a certified fitness professional in everything from Cycle, Aqua, multiple Les Mills and Mind/Body formats. She’s worked for major health club chains and held several positions from Group Fitness Manager to Director of Group Fitness. She holds a Masters in Communications and is now a Director for Myobuddy Massager. Her Myobuddy mission is to help health clubs utilize the world’s greatest fitness and recovery device and help all fitness enthusiasts reach their goals, stay injury free and live their best lives. 


Daniel Hubbert – Daniel is a 30 year music & fitness industry professional who has spent the last 10 years as Power Music Inc’s CEO. He started Group Rx, the company’s successful pre-choreography class division. There he guided the development of programs like RIP, REVOLUTION, WAR, SPORT, TRANSFORM, and WILLOW.


Leah Husk – Leah comes to DCAC with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is a former member of The Board of Directors of The White House Athletic Center, The White House, Washington, D.C. She is an AFPA certified Personal Trainer, certified Yoga Instructor (CYT 240) and certified Biometrics Nutrition and Fitness Coach. She owns and operates Leah Husk Fitness, LLC, a boutique fitness studio in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, where she specializes in Yoga, Personal Training, Group Exercise and on-site Corporate wellness programming.


Maurice Johnson – ACE Personal Trainer, ACE Behavior Change Specialist, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach, Mindset Performance Coach Level 1, Spartan SGX Level 1.  Maurice began his fitness career at the YMCA in White Plains, NY where he was employed as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor to children as well as adults. After his tenure at the YMCA he went on to work at Equinox fitness where he became a top 100 performing personal trainer 2 years in a row and came up with the idea of his signature program Superhuman: The Class. Using his class as a platform for personal development, Maurice has been invited to  teach his class as well as speak for schools and corporations such as Danone and Swiss RE. He has also developed in house mentorship programs for new fitness professionals looking to broaden their horizons. Maurice has also coached teams and individuals to run and compete in Spartan Races as well as other Obstacle course races. As an athlete, Maurice also competed in the Spartan Race including the Spartan Ultra Beast, competed as an open class natural bodybuilder, powerlifting, and is a 2nd degree black belt martial artist.  Maurice is a Westchester, NY native who still resides there and is currently a 5 star Elite level Instructor at Lifetime Athletic Westchester.


Shawn Madden – aka the Ambassador of Fun, is the founder and CEO of Underdog Sports Leagues in Seattle and Portland. League Lab Software, and FunCorp Events. He recently finished “the Social Ref” (www.socialref.net) a communication guide to help new referees across the country deal with conflict and controversy. Shawn speaks regularly on the topics of communication, branding, and “Friend Building.”

Pete McCall – Frequently quoted as a fitness expert in publications such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, U-T San Diego, Time, Men’s Fitness, SELF, Glamour, US News & World Report and Shape Magazine Pete is a sought-after media resource for accurate, in-depth insight on how to get results from exercise. Besides working with individual clients and teaching group fitness classes Pete has more than a decade of experience educating personal trainers around the world including teaching for both the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Irene Lewis-McCormick –  M.S. is 2018 IDEA Health & Fitness Instructor of the Year and Top 3 Fitness Industry Contributor at IDEA China 2018. She is a published author, adjunct faculty at Drake University, a conference educator, fitness consultant and key note speaker.  Irene holds an M.S. in Physiology from Iowa State University, is faculty for SCW Fitness and a master course instructor for TRX®, Savvier Fitness, Power Systems and WaterRower. A RYKA Brand Ambassador and a Subject Matter Expert for NASM and ACE, Irene is featured talent in dozens of DVD’s, articles and pod casts; has written 17 educational manuals and published two books; A Woman’s Guide to Muscle & Strength (2011) and The HIIT Advantage for Women (2015) by Human Kinetics. Lynsie McKeown – Lynsie McKeown is a leader in maximizing personal and professional potential. Alex McLean – has been teaching group fitness since 1995. He started as a dancer and master class presenter for the Reebok Performance Team and Nike Culture Shock. Currently, Alex is an educator for multiple world class brands including Balanced Body®, TRX® and Strong by Zumba®. He has appeared in video and print projects for TRX®, Under Armour® and Strong by Zumba® and has been behind the scenes as a fitness tech for TRX® and Health magazine shoots with Brooke Burke and Cheryl Burke. As a professional dancer and acrobat, Alex has participated in commercials for Facebook and Joy Mangano Home Products. He has also danced with LeAnn Rimes, Disney, Universal Studios and the NBA/WNBA. David Mills – David holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and is a NASM certified personal trainer. David is a specialist in corrective exercise, injury prevention and rehabilitative training. Prior to founding Vibe he worked as a master level trainer in Aspen, Colorado working with a variety of clients, ranging from professional athletes to corporate executives. David is the Co-developer of the Vibe VI3 system, a program for resolving musculoskeletal pain, optimizing athletic performance, and correcting joint and muscle imbalances utilizing vibration therapy tools. In addition to developing the VI3 System David is also the creator of the Vibe Roller and the president of Vibe.

Tricia Murphy-Madden – Tricia Murphy Madden has been teaching since 1991. She is certified by ACE and AFAA and leads fitness and management workshops worldwide as one the industry’s frequent presenters for IDEA, Fitness TV, SCW Fitness, CanFitPro, DCAC, IHRSA, Diego Sacco Portugal and many more.

Mylrea, Bruce

Bruce Mylrea – Bruce Mylrea/ BA in Economics / ECornell certified in Plant Based Nutrition / AFPA certified Holistic Nutritional Councilor. He spends hours each day reviewing the latest in unbiased nutritional research. Bruce is focused and passionate in educating others on the life enhancing and life extending benefits of whole food plant based nutrition. Bruce is the SCW male presenter of the year for 2017 and also 2017 Life Time Achievement Award for CanFitPro. Bruce and Mindy have worked together for 11 years in the fitness and wellness industry and present both fitness programming and nutritional education together.

Mindy Mylrea NEW

Mindy Mylrea – Mindy Mylrea is the 2017 Life Time achievement Award Winner for CanFitPro , 2016 Empower Instructor of the Year, 2015 PFP Trainer of the Year. 2015 International Presenter of the Year, 2013 CanFitPro Specialty Presenter of the Year, 2008 ECA OBOW Fitness Presenter of the Year, the 2004 Can Fit Pro International Presenter of the Year, the 1999 International IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, a National and World Aerobic Champion, a 361 sponsored athlete, and a five star presenter for IDEA. Mindy is an advisory board member for Oxygen Magazine, an international presenter, author, motivational speaker, video personality, and CEC provider for both ACE and AFAA.  Mindy is the creator and lead talent behind Gliding , the Gliding discs exercise program. She is a master trainer and on the pro development team for Schwinn Cycling, Body Bar, and Bosu.  Mindy is the creator of Tabata Bootcamp that earned Most Impactful Program of 2013, and owner of FitFlix Productions DVD production services. . She has authored numerous articles and stars in over 400 instructional videos. Mindy is currently the host of Orbitrek Elite and 6 minutes to slim it  infomercials. Mindy donates her time and talents regularly to numerous charities and nonprofit organizations. Mindy is the mother of three boys, been married for 32 years, and lives in Santa Cruz, California.  Bruce and Mindy have worked together for 11 years in the fitness and wellness industry and present both fitness programming and nutritional education together.

Dr. Evan Osar – Dr. Osar  is the developer of the Integrative Movement Specialist™ certification designed specifically to aid the fitness professional establish themselves as an invaluable part of their client’s health care team. In addition to his chiropractic degree, Dr. Osar has earned national certifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and The Soma Institute – National School for Clinical Massage Therapy. He is the founder of Fitness Education Seminars, an education company with the mission of helping trainers and therapist recognize their role as a part of the solution to the health care crisis. Saulo Ouverney – Saulo Ouverney has a Bachelor Degree in Health and Physical Education. When a teenage, he used to practice Gymnastics and to compete Sport Aerobics for almost 8 years. After graduating in University, at first, he taught fitness classes and private strength training. At this time, he has brought all mind training he used to have as an athlete to his clients. The Pilates Method became a passion in 2006 and in 2007 he was running his own Pilates Studio.
In 2009 he has met the Stott Pilates methodology and decided to leave his previous jobs, move to São Paulo and in 2013 became an IT. Saulo had such a great experience living in the Middle East teaching Pilates, GYROTONIC® and Total Barre™ for almost 1 year and a half. During 2016, Saulo was auditing over and over many Stott Pilates courses at the head office in Toronto. With a lots of passion for the MERRITHEW® programs, biomechanics and exercise physiology, he keeps going forward on his path, always looking for te latest news and innovations to keep himself updated with mindful activities and its benefits.

Renee Grace Pickett – “Bringing the term, “Beastmode” to a whole new level is Strong by Zumba Master Trainer, Renee Grace Pickett! Renee is a Certified AFAA Personal Trainer, Motivational Speaker, Fitness Model, and one of few involved in helping create the Strong by ZUMBA program! Laura Ribbins – In the Cayman, Laura is renowned for her exceptional teaching ability for swimming and dedicated personal involvement with community programs for all ages. She has over thirty years experience in the fitness industry, presenting internationally spreading her contagious passion and energy for movement.  Laura has starred in many fitness videos and proudly in 2000, Laura was awarded AEA Professional of the Year.

Dan Ritchie – has a broad background in the fitness industry including training and management commercial, for-profit, not for-profit and educational facilities. Expertise in personal training for special populations: athletes, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s, etc. 

He has also worked on state funded research on exercise for severe dementia Alzheimer’s type. He regularly presents at national and regional conferences and has been active on committees for the American College of Sports Medicine.


Keli Roberts – Keli Roberts is the recipient of the 2003 IDEA International Fitness Instructor of the Year award, 2003 OBOW ECA award for Best Use of Equipment, 2005 for Best Female Presenter and 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2007 Keli was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. As an ACE Master Trainer and Continuing Education Provider, Keli is known for her acclaimed workshops worldwide. Her award winning DVDs demonstrate her exceptional teaching skills. Keli is ACSM HFS certified and holds certifications through AFAA, ACE Group Fitness, ACE Gold Personal Trainer and Level 1 Precision Nutrition. Additionally Keli is a BOSU Developmental Team Member and a Schwinnâ Master Trainer

Jonathan Ross – His “800 Pounds of Parents” directly inspired Jonathan’s prolific fitness career.  He is a multiple Personal Trainer of the Year Award-Winner (ACE, IDEA, and PFP Magazine), creator of Funtensity, brain fitness expert, blogger and master trainer for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). His book, Abs Revealed, delivers a modern, intelligent approach to abdominal training. A former astronomer, Jonathan used to study stellar bodies – now he builds them!

Francisco Sanchez – Francisco grew up in the martial arts world, inspired by his father at an early age.  Practicing karate his entire life made him realize that there is a lot to learn about mobility and different types of training.  After ten years of exploring and learning the trends in the fitness industry her created the Samurai FT martial arts fitness system.  He is an AFAA and aAAI/ISMA certified personal trainer, who has completed the NASM Street Sport World Calisthenics Organization certification, Level 1 IHP Functional Training certification, strong by Zumba certification, TRX® certification, Animal Flow certification, and is an I.K.A third-degree black belt.

Jeffrey Scott

Jeffrey Scott –Jeffrey is an International Fitness Presenter, the Sr. Manager of Group Fitness Education and Training for Equinox Fitness Clubs and the Lead Master Trainer for Schwinn Cycling & Core Health and Fitness. With over 25 years of experience in the Health and Fitness industry, Jeffrey is an award-winning Presenter who conducts educational workshops, lectures and master classes around the world. SGT Ken® – is an award-winning international speaker, six-time US Army Soldier of the Year, Master Fitness Trainer, Master Resilience Trainer, Counterintelligence Agent and highly decorated combat veteran. Ken is a recent graduate of the John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker Course and is a member of the National Speakers Association. Ken was recently awarded his ninth Army Commendation Medal for achieving Distinguished Graduate at the Army Leadership Course for Counterintelligence. Ken is the recipient of the Canadian Fitness Professionals (canfitpro) 2011 Best New Presenter of the Year award, the EMPOWER Fitness 2013 Male Presenter of the Year award, the IDEA WORLD 2016 Fitness Instructor of the Year award, has been featured numerous times on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox news, and continues to serve as a host for the Fit for Duty show on the Pentagon Channel. Ken was awarded his tenth Army Commendation Medal for creating the Warrior Fit Camp program for the Tennessee Army National Guard Suicide Prevention Task Force, helping thousands of Armed Service Members turn stress into strength and obstacles into opportunities through physical and emotional resiliency coaching and leadership training.

Robert Sherman – Robert Sherman has known he wanted to be part of the fitness industry since 1982.  Having injured a shoulder while a collegiate baseball player studying business, he was fascinated by the physical therapy being done on his shoulder.  That launched his study of exercise science.  But, it was the humbling experience of taking his physical therapist’s aerobics class that helped him understand that mastering movement can also have a high impact on improving self-esteem.  He followed his passion for training and teaching and it wasn’t long before Reebok saw him present and offered him the chance to become a Master Trainer and Program Developer.  In the years that followed, he has taught, trained, instructed, consulted, spoken internationally and managed/owned private studios.  He continues to learn and inspire with knowledge through actions, words and emotions.

Cody Sipe – Cody Sipe has an extensive background in the fitness industry with 20 years of experience as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, program director, exercise physiologist and club owner. He is currently an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Research in the physical therapy program at Harding University.  He has spent his career researching, developing and practicing the most effective training strategies to improve function in older adults. He has completed certifications as an ACSM Exercise Specialist, ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, FallProof Balance and Mobility Enhancement Specialist and more. His secondary area of expertise is in the prevention and management of chronic disease conditions, especially those that accompany the aging process such as arthritis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. In 2005 he was honored with the IDEA Program Director of the Year award.

Lynne Skilton-Hayes – Lynne is the Fitness Program Supervisor at the University of Guelph where she is responsible for the programming of hundreds of programs for students, faculty, staff and community.  She is a canfitpro and ACE certified group fitness instructor and master personal trainer.  Lynne holds a B.SC. degree and brings over 22 years of education and experience to the fitness industry.  She is an International Fitness Presenter/Educator, Matrix Master trainer, GSTC TRX trainer canfitpro ProTrainer and Woman of Distinction Nominee in 2016 and 2017.  Lynne has done work for television, print and videos for online curriculum for IDEA Fitness Association.

April T. Smith, M.Ed. – April is an Education Specialist and Presenter for Zumbaâ Fitness.  She conducts Instructor Trainings for Basic Level 1 and 2, and Zumba Gold.  April has presented at the Annual Zumba Fitness Convention in 2009 and 2011.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in English, and a master’s degree in Education.  April is certified by ACE and AFAA.

Haley Stone – is the Creator and CEO of WERQ Dance Fitness, wildly addictive cardio dance base on pop and hip-hop. With a background in dance and fitness, Stone launched WERQ in 2011. Over 1,200 instructors in 40 states reach thousands of WERQaholics weekly. Her passion to move people towards dance is exceeded only by her drive to make a positive impact and grow the fitness community to include more diversity. Don is married and has two daughters
Josh Taylor – is a world-renowned Master Instructor, Senior Advisor and Global Brand Ambassador for the Spinning® program. He is a former professional cyclist who has competed at the highest levels of bike racing for over two decades and has raced against some of the top international cyclists in the world in events such as the San Francisco Grand Prix and the Philadelphia International Championship. His deep level of experience in the sport of cycling and the fitness industry has put him in a unique position to help guide the Spinning® community to find a better ride.


Zoey Trap – is an international authority on Mind-body Exercise with over 25 years of experience. She has a Master’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, is a Peak Pilates® Master Instructor and co-author of the Peak Pilates Educational Programs. She is ACE and Jivamukti Yoga certified.
Louis Van Amstel – Louis is the Owner and Creator, LaBlast® Fitness, a Three-time World Dance Champion and Emmy-nominated choreographer.  He is best known for his ten stunning turns on the smash hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars.”  Louis continues to grow his highly popular dance fitness program, ” LaBlast®”, which is spreading rapidly and currently available in multiple cities worldwide. Louis has an extensive background as a professional choreographer, coach and trainer. He served as a choreographer on FOX’s dance hit show “So You Think You Can Dance”, marking the first time any “DWTS” talent had crossed over to work on both shows at the same time.

Helen Vanderburg – Commercial Fitness Education Director Balanced Body, ACE, E-YRT, AFLCA, CanFitPro founder and co-owner of Heavens fitness, yoga, spin studio, author of Fusion Workouts and Commercial Fitness Education Manager for Balanced Body. She has been recognized numerous times as Canada’s Presenter of the Year by CanFitPro and is the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She has been awarded the IDEA Program Director, Presenter of the Year and the 2018 Top Industry Contributor. Helen’s passion of fitness, health and wellness has been recognized as one of Canada’s most influential people and honor the Women of Vision award. She is the recipient of many industry awards and is an elite athlete as a former World Champion synchronized swimmer and honored member of the Sports Hall of Fame. Helen has consulted for international fitness companies such as Balanced Body, NIKE, Total Gym, BOSU, Hedstrom Fitness, Nautilus and Schwinn, to name a few. She has presented globally for the past 25 years at almost every major fitness conference. 


Andrea Velazquez – has been immersed in the world of Aquatics for over 20 years. She has presented at NYS Parks and Recreation Conferences as well as AOAP Annual Conference. She is a Starfish Aquatics Institute Starguard Instructor and Starfish Swim Instructor Trainer. She is AEA Certified and a Master Trainer for Acquapole (Italy), AquaStrength (New Zealand) and SAFAQUA Drums Vibes (Poland).

Judy Weaver – is a yoga therapist and a yoga teacher.  Using her 30 years of learning and teaching she founded Connected Warriors a non-profit delivering Trauma-Conscious yoga programs to veterans and their families around the world and BodyMind Recalibration™ a multi-discipline practice building cognitive and somatic body-mind relationships. She has developed protocols for 3 clinical studies used by Connected Warriors and health care practitioners.  Judy is a Yoga Alliance On-line Presenter and part of Core Curriculum Working Group and contributor to the YSC book “Best Practices for Yoga for Veterans”.
