Staci Alden is a seasoned Group Fitness Manager, presenter, writer, strategic planner (both digital and in-person offerings) and entrepreneur. Staci is committed to helping group fitness managers and club operators elevate their programs, talent and leadership skills. Her clients range from large luxury health clubs and international companies to small studios. She has designed world class studios, launched signature formats and built turnkey solutions for enhancing systems, leaders and talent. Staci is also a master Balanced Body® barre and MOTR® instructor.
Elizabeth Andrews has been a group fitness instructor and coach for 35 years, teaching and developing exciting classes and programming, from the southeast to the Pacific NorthWest. Elizabeth is a Master Trainer for the best companies in the movement arena, BOSU, TRX and DVRT Ultimate Sandbag, also using her gifts as a motivational speaker for companies such as Amazon, as well as writing for ACE. She has presented several times at IDEA World, IDEA West, TRX Summits, Western States Chiropractic College, and for the YMCA Summits. Her diverse experience working and teaching in the rehab field, general fitness, as well as yoga, provide a broad perspective and knowledge, in movement.
Gail Bannister Munn is the Group Exercise Classic Coordinator for Crunch Fitness Rochdale, NY.  Gail currently works as the Flexibility, FST, Thai Body Therapist, and Yoga coach with the NY Jets Football Team, Pro Hoops Basketball, and various NFL/NBA athletes that focuses on skill sets that can help players improve in all areas of defense, and offense. She currently holds National Certifications in several different disciplines, including NASM, Fascial Stretch Therapist L3, AFFA, and is an NASM/AFAA Continuing Education Provider, which enhances her coaching abilities to her athletes, staff and her classes.

Pattie Bostick-Winn With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Pattie has taught multiple fitness and dance formats. Her passion lies in helping others realize their full potential and finding grace and beauty in all aspects of movement. Pattie enjoys engaging people in workouts that they’ve never experienced and is inspired helping others achieve their goals. She is a college adjunct dance educator, fitness instructor, personal trainer, private ballet coach, and Program Specialist for Barre Above, Balletone, Tabata Bootcamp, and Extreme Chaos.
Jeannie Brown Johnson (“Aquagirl J”) is an internationally known, 2018 GLOBAL AWARD WINNING, certified Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) fitness professional, national continuing education provider with Triple Delight Aquatics and regional trainer with LG Total Fitness.  Jeannie’s also an ACQUAPOLE master trainer, HYDRORIDER, HYDRO BOARD and SAF AQUA DRUMS VIBES instructor, and 10 time, international AEA presenter and volunteer.  2019 DCAC and 2018/2019 Fit Rendezvous Presenter, plus, CPR/AED, Lifeguard and WSI training with the Red Cross are also on her list of credits.
Kelly Bullard is an International fitness educator and a Zumba® Education Specialist (ZES) since 2009. She holds degrees in Exercise and Sports Science (Health and Physical Education) and a Master’s degree in Sport Administration. Her passion, enthusiasm, and experience is for fitness/dance for people of all ages. Kelly specializes in many of the Zumba Fitness programs and has presented in over 36 countries. She is in several Zumba DVD’s, including being featured in the Aqua Zumba® Vol. 6. Kelly holds a variety of certifications in many areas of fitness, and is a continuing education provider for AEA, AAAI/ISMA, AFAA & ACE.
Ethon Burns’ one and only career in life has been as a personal trainer and fitness educator for over 20 years. He has always had a deep passion for teaching and, importantly, helping people move, feel, and look their best. Clients’ consistency, small victories, and personal bests fuel him.

He began his career as an assistant coach training the Iowa Hawkeye TaeKwonDo team to nationals and coaching Junior Olympic TaeKwonDo camps before bringing his love of fitness and movement to his personal training studios in Chicago.

He is now back at home in Iowa helping our awesome community become even stronger and healthier. Ethon considers it his life’s purpose to help people wade through the fitness fads and instead bring the most current, evidence-based transformational changes to all who seek them.

Ethon specializes in functional movement and has a degree from the University of Iowa in sports psychology, with minors in exercise physiology, nutrition, and kinesiology. Megan Cooperman, M.Ed, from Maryland, is a seasoned fitness pro with 20 years of experience in the fitness and health industry from instructor to group fitness manager. A Maryland Distinguished Scholar In the Arts (for dance), she has taught various dance and dance fitness formats, but her ALL TIME FAVORITE is LaBlast Fitness. Megan has a master’s degree in counseling and is certified by AFAA, ACE and AEA. She looks forward to sharing LaBlast with you!
Ellen de Werd is a 21-year, fitness industry veteran. She is the founder of WARRIOR Rhythm™ and WARRIOR Strength™. In 2018 and 2019, prior to the launch of WARRIOR Instructor Academy, Ellen garnered national attention as a presenter and educator for Beachbody.  In 2021 her WARRIOR formats spread internationally to 9 countries. She re-entered the conference scene with WARRIOR, taking the nation by storm. Ellen is the Fitness Director at the Downtown Athletic Club and a Lululemon Ambassador in Eugene.
Movement motivator, body liberator, and unconventional fitness professional, Christine DeFilippis is the owner of Pop Fit Studio, a HAES & weight-inclusive fitness studio in the Philadelphia suburbs. She is also the creator of FitProEd, an online education platform for group fitness instructors that would like to expand their expertise. After close to 30 years in the fitness industry, struggling with eating disorders, weight cycling, body dysmorphia, and a lot of unhappiness, Christine shifted her focus to joyful movement and created the Breaking Body Biases podcast to amplify the voices of fitpros, dietitians, and other wellness practitioners looking to destroy diet culture.
Sonja Friend-Uhl has trained people of all ages and abilities for over 22 years. A skilled fitness programmer, Sonja holds Fitness Training Certifications with ACSM and AFAA as well as AFAA specialty certifications in Youth, Senior, and Pre-Natal Fitness. Sonja is a certified ACE Health Coach which gives her the ability to work with those in the allied health field in regards to high risk or specialized clientele. She is a registered Nutrition & Weight Loss Counselor. Following her passion for running, Sonja is USATF Coaching Certified. She has served as a high school, collegiate, club and private running coach. From 2012-2015 Sonja served as an assistant Cross-Country and Track coach at Vanderbilt University. Since August of 2016 Sonja has a served as a volunteer Track and cross country coach for FAU in Boca Raton and operates her own coaching & running education platform, www.TheRunningWarrior.com.

Sonja developed and coached fitness and personal training education programs for The Athletic Club at Weston and The Athletic Club Boca Raton while serving as their Athletic Director from 1998-2003. She received the Athletic Director of the Year Award twice during this time period. Sonja founded and operated FIT Studio – a personal training and Pilates studio in Wellington, Florida from 2004-2009. For the last 14 years Sonja has traveled the world consulting as the Lead Master Trainer for Core Health & Fitness, which includes the brands of Stairmaster, Nautilus, Schwinn, and Star Trac.

Sonja’s personal athletic achievements continue as she still competes at the national and world level. A State Champion in High School and a scholarship, record-setting runner at the College of William and Mary, she has also been a member of six (6) U.S. world teams, a 2000 Olympic Trials Competitor in the 1500m, and has launched a successful Masters Running career. She is the reigning World Record Holder in the Women’s Masters Indoor Mile (4:44.8) and the American Record Holder in the Women’s Masters 1500m (4:16.9), the Women’s Masters Outdoor Mile (4:45.68), and the Women’s Masters Indoor 3000m (9:48.23). Sonja is also a repeat National & World Masters Champion in the 800m, 1500m, & 5000m, & Cross Country.

Lauren George is the Co-Creator of the Enhanced Barre Above Program, owner of Clemson Fitness Company, adjunct faculty for Clemson University and a Master Trainer for Balletone. She has had a love for movement since a young age and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University and Master’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from University of North Texas. She was named EMPOWER! Fusion Education Partner of the Year in 2018. Lauren has had the pleasure of leading the group fitness programs at The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center, Florida State University, and Todd Pilates and Fitness. Most of all, Lauren is passionate about helping participants understand that fitness can be FUN!
Clay Grant is an International Fitness Professional with over 35 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He has presented workshops, masterclasses, seminars and convention sessions in over 20 countries in Europe, South America, Central America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. He is group fitness and personal training certified with AFAA, ACE, NASM and a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. In 2015, he was the recipient of the Best All Around Male Presenter for East Coast Alliance (ECA) International Fitness Convention. Clay believes that fitness and fun are not mutually exclusive. The blending of these two elements makes for unlimited possibilities for energy, creativity and motivation. Kim Gray is a certified yoga therapist, yoga teacher, personal trainer, and studio owner. She empowers students toward a healthier, centered life using exercise principles and yoga teachings. Kim is also a Senior Master Trainer for YogaFit Worldwide and leads yoga teacher trainings in the US and abroad.
Aaron Guyett is a husband, father, Living.Fit Education Director/Master Coach, Marine Corps Staff Sergeant/Chief Combat Instructor, and founder of three organizations (Battle Ropes Education-sold 2019, Leaders of Leaders, and Innovative Results-sold 2017). It is the combination of these different aspects of Aaron’s life that distinguishes him as a leader across multiple fields.

Aaron is a world-class trainer and coach with a wide array of skills that he brings to both mental and physical fitness. As a Living.Fit Master Coach and Equinox Educator, he teaches battle ropes and metabolic pathway programming for power, strength, and endurance to athletes and coaches of all levels. Michelle Leachman, M.S. is determined to move others towards discovery through inspiration, education and motivation. Passionate about creating meaningful team, client and mentoring experiences. Enthusiastic about diversity and equity in the workplace and strives to impact a positive change. She is an aspiring author in the framework of medical practices, a public speaker and movement-focused business professional. She earned her degrees in Science and Journalism. She is the oversight of the Department of Professional Education for the American Council on Exercise. She serves as an Global Ambassador for the Women in Fitness Association and FitBodies. She is a Master Coach for CORE Health and Fitness brands. Michelle can be found somewhere outside engaging in just about anything active. She enjoys hiking, strength training and anything with a touch of competition.
Megan Lesko is an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor and Barre Above program specialist who has been helping people across central Pennsylvania become stronger, fitter, and happier since 2015. A lifelong athlete, Megan turned to barre to maintain core strength after a back injury. She became an instructor at the encouragement of a studio owner, and she quickly found her niche encouraging people to devote the same time and care to themselves that they so easily give to others. She holds additional certificates in Pumped Up Strength, TRX, and Schwinn Power Cycle.  Megan loves the energy she gets from clients while she teaches, and she wants every participant to leave class with a smile and sense of accomplishment. Her desire to make a difference away from the barre, too, inspired her to found Exercise Change, a Harrisburg organization that supported local non-profits through donation-based classes. Outside of fitness, Megan is a speech-language pathologist and owns an early intervention therapy business.
Jenice Mattek, a licensed Clinical Massage Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Certified Integrative Movement Specialist, specializes in educating and treating women who have had surgery and struggle with chronic tightness, discomfort, and inability to perform at the level they need and want. She is the co-author of What Lies Beneath: The Under-Realized Effects of Breast, Abdominal and Pelvic Surgeries, the first book to specifically discuss the impact of surgery and trauma on posture, movement, and pain. Jenice lectures around the world creating awareness of the impact of surgery by teaching health and fitness professionals who work with women post-surgery. Jenice’s mission is to educate and empower women so they take control of their health and can successfully return to the activities of life that they need, want, and love to do.
Alex McLean has been teaching group fitness since 1995. He started as a dancer and master class presenter for the Reebok® Performance Team and Nike® Culture Shock. Currently, Alex is an educator for three global brands: Strong by Zumba™, TRX® and Schwinn® Cycling. He was a featured master trainer for the Strong by Zumba™ consumer DVD and has appeared in video and print projects for TRX®, Under Armour® and Total Gym®.  Alex is certified in group fitness and personal training by ACE, AFAA and NASM.
Rodney Morris is an industry veteran with 20 years of experience as an executive-level leader, innovation driver, and change and inclusion strategist within the fitness industry. Presently, Rodney serves as the Co-Founder/CEO of MyFitPod, Chief Strategy Officer for Hospice Care Partners, and as a Partner in Two Barons Enterprises, LLC. Previously, Rodney served as the Vice President of People Development and Inclusion for Fitness Connection, where he architected, developed, and implemented education, training, diversity, inclusion, and other culture/change management strategies for the organization. Over the years, Rodney has held leadership roles with many other notable fitness brands (including Gold’s Gym, 24 Hour Fitness, the YMCA, and Les Mills International). He also presented as an SME and fitness brand representative at global industry events such as Club Industry, IHRSA, and IDEA. Additionally, Rodney is a licensed trainer in Situational Leadership™, an experienced CRM/Social Media Marketing administrator, and a certified specialist in Integrated Talent Management through the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Tricia Murphy Madden is a 29-year industry veteran and 2021 IDEA Fitness Leader Of The Year.  Tricia is the National Education Director for Savvier Fitness and the co-creator of Barre Above with over 85 master trainers and over 5600 trained instructors worldwide. She is the co-author and creator of a children’s book and fitness program called, The ABC’s of Exercise sold worldwide. Tricia sits on the IDEA Group Fitness Committee and is known for her numerous programs developed over the past 29 years.
Bruce Mylrea/ BA in Economics / ECornell certified in Plant Based Nutrition / AFPA certified Holistic Nutritional Councilor. He spends hours each day reviewing the latest in unbiased nutritional research. Bruce is focused and passionate in educating others on the life enhancing and life extending benefits of whole food plant based nutrition. Bruce is the SCW male presenter of the year for 2017 and also 2017 Life Time Achievement Award for CanFitPro. Bruce and Mindy have worked together for 11 years in the fitness and wellness industry and present both fitness programming and nutritional education together.
Mindy Mylrea – Mindy Mylrea is the 2017 Life Time achievement Award Winner for CanFitPro , 2016 Empower Instructor of the Year, 2015 PFP Trainer of the Year. 2015 International Presenter of the Year, 2013 CanFitPro Specialty Presenter of the Year, 2008 ECA OBOW Fitness Presenter of the Year, the 2004 Can Fit Pro International Presenter of the Year, the 1999 International IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, a National and World Aerobic Champion, a 361 sponsored athlete, and a five star presenter for IDEA. Naturally a teacher at heart, Heidi Neal helps instructors collaborate and build community. Presently, she is a group fitness instructor for Life Time in the DC suburbs and presents for Savvier Fitness as a Barre Above Program Specialist. Heidi began her journey in group fitness instruction as a student at Temple University. Her love for teaching fitness has carried her across three states and countless gyms and studios. Finding a community and contributing to building it up wherever she is planted has become her forte. Dr. Evan Osar is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and expert on assessment, corrective exercise, and functional movement. He has authored Corrective Exercise Solutions to Common Hip and Shoulder Dysfunction and Amazon #1 Best Seller, The Psoas Solution. Dr. Osar developed the Integrative Movement System™, an evidence-based approach to improving clinical outcomes and helping patients perform at their highest level. Jenni Lynn Patterson-LaCour is an AEA ATS, NSCA- CPT, CEC Provider, an International Aquatic Fitness Presenter and creator of S’WET™.  She has been working one on one with clients and teaching aquatic fitness classes in New York City for over a decade. Alexis Perkins is Founder and Creative Director of Chair One Fitness. She has always had a passion for fitness, television production, dancing, and public speaking. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication/Broadcast Journalism she went on to work at CBS Affiliate WTKR News Channel 3 and became co-producer and lead instructor for the 30min television program Fuzion Fitness and Body By Alexis.

Alexis made a huge impact in the fitness world teaching Zumba Fitness internationally and coordinating the LOVE Fest; which became the largest dance fitness event in Hampton Roads Virginia attracting people from all over the Unities States.

All these paths in conjunction with her close relationship with her grandmother and teaching seniors for years led her to the creation of the nationally accredited program Chair One Fitness. Which not only offers fitness instructors longevity in this field but is a blessing to all who take the class, overcome physical limitations, and stay active.

Michael Piercy, MS,CSCS is the owner of The LAB in Fairfield, NJ. He is the recipient of the 2017 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year award and the 2013 TRX® FACEUP award for instructor of the year. A former professional baseball player with the multiple organizations, he brings a unique perspective to his work with athletes and active adults. He holds a master’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in performance enhancement, and multiple advanced-level certifications from several organizations. He serves as an educator teachin high level education courses for various organizations including TRX Training where he serves as a Senior Master Instructor.
Dr. Dan Ritchie is the president and co-founder of the Functional Aging Institute and a best selling author of Never Grow Old!

With over 20 years experience in the field and having trained over 2,000 clients over age 55.   Dan received his PhD at Purdue University in Kinesiology with a minor in Gerontology.   In addition Dan leads a team of 7 trainers at Miracles Fitness a personal training studio with an average age clientele over 62.   In addition to being an international speaker on the topic of aging and fitness Dan has also been involved in research on Alzheimers and Parkinsons.

Keli Roberts is the recipient of the 2003 IDEA International Fitness Instructor of the Year award, 2005 for Best Female Presenter and 2008 Lifetime Achievement OBOW Award and in 2007 Keli was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. Additionally, in 2012, Keli was also honored as Presenter of the Year as well as the 2016 Inspiration Award for Empower! Conventions. Kaleena Rustin is a Senior Functional Movement Specialist, Pelvic Core Specialist and Fellow of Applied Functional Science at Gymnazo. In 2017, Kaleena created the Female Core Conversion program to help women with pregnancy and menopause related pelvic core neuromuscular (PCNS) dysfunctions. With this program she has helped hundreds of women recover from diastasis recti, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, knee pain, back pain and more. Kaleena is also the Senior Programmer for Gymnazo’s Elite Athletes where she expertly balances challenging her athletes to reach their highest level of performance while also incorporating restoration that enhances their recovery.
SGT Ken® is an award-winning international speaker, Master Fitness Trainer, Master Resilience Trainer, and a fitness specialist for the American Council on Exercise. Ken is a CSP® (Certified Speaking Professional™), a member of the National Speakers Association, and a graduate of the John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker Course. Riley Shaia is a certified group exercise instructor with the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and has worked as a group fitness instructor since 1992. She received a B.S. in Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia in 1995 then went on to get her Masters in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998. Beth Shaw, C-IAYT, ERYT, author and entrepreneur, is an expert in transformation. Founder of YogaFit Worldwide, Beth has transformed the yoga industry in the US and Canada, making yoga accessible to everybody and every body! Her most recent book, Healing Trauma With Yoga, is a best-selling guide for post-traumatic growth. A passionate animal advocate, Beth lives in NY with her rescue dog, Bentley.

His career in the fitness business began with CrossFit. It was the first door to open for him in the professional coaching world. He moved from New York to California to open my gym. Lamarr was a gym owner from 2009 -2014. During this period of time he also started a Functional Fitness Competition brand called Legendary competitor. He saw a need to help influence how the CrossFit athletes were training. These competitions were up to 6x a year at various athletic venues and hosted over 500 athletes from 100 hundreds of gyms across the country. Moving forward from that he became a general manager for a Strength and Conditioning chain of gyms in Seattle. This placed Lamarr in the path of Amazon and joining the Halo team as an industry specialist to apply his coaching and movement knowledge with technology. He is now able to help millions of people on their fitness journey. Lamarr’s trainings and certifications include, CrossFit Level 1, USAW Sports Performance Coach, RPR Level 2 and Animal FLow Level 1.
April T. Smith, M.Ed. is an Education Specialist and Presenter for Zumba Fitness.  She conducts Instructor Trainings for Basic Level 1 and 2, and Zumba Gold.  April has presented at the Annual Zumba Fitness Convention in 2009 and 2011.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, and a master’s degree in Education.  April is certified by ACE and AFAA.
Dr Emily Splichal, Functional Podiatrist and Human Movement Specialist, is the Founder of EBFA Global , Creator of the Barefoot Training Specialist® Certification, Author of Barefoot Strong and Inventor of Naboso Barefoot Technology. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Dr Splichal has dedicated her medical career towards studying postural alignment and human movement as it relates to barefoot science, foot to core integration and sensory integration.
Zoey Trap, MSc–Zoey is known for her ability to make the complex, simple. A mind body pioneer she shares her ability to understand the body in motion with her unique presenting style. Zoey is the Executive Director of Peak Pilates Training and Education, she leads the Peak Pilates Master Instructor Team and the author of the new Peak Pilates Classical Instructor certification program, and creator of the Peak coaching and mentoring systems. An international presenter Zoey has been featured in numerous videos, articles and on Pilates Anytime. Zoey recently completed the Intro to Spiral Dynamiks (R) course and is a Jivamukti certified Yoga Instructor.
After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Tyler Valencia turned an undergraduate internship with the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) into a full-time position. Throughout his time at NESTA, he excelled at several positions, developed his skill set with online instructional design, and eventually accepted an executive position with the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) & Smart Fitness. After working for NCCPT, Tyler decided to start his own online health and fitness company and founded the Kinesiology Institute for Performance Specialists (KIPS). Since 2016, KIPS has been selling and developing online and live education for health and fitness professionals. In 2020, Tyler decided to re-start his first-ever entrepreneurial quest and relaunched Time 2 Train Fitness, an online exercise platform which specializes in live and on demand workouts for those wanting to workout at-home. Tyler holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Kinesiology and will be completing his PhD in Health and Human Performance later this year.
Louis Van Amstel is the Owner and Creator, LaBlast® Fitness, a Three-time World Dance Champion and Emmy-nominated choreographer.  He is best known for his ten stunning turns on the smash hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars.”  Louis continues to grow his highly popular dance fitness program, ” LaBlast®”, which is spreading rapidly and currently available in multiple cities worldwide. Louis has an extensive background as a professional choreographer, coach and trainer. He served as a choreographer on FOX’s dance hit show “So You Think You Can Dance”, marking the first time any “DWTS” talent had crossed over to work on both shows at the same time.

Andrea Velazquez has been immersed in the Aquatics Industry for over 25 years. She is a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Yonkers and Creator of AVAQUATICS. She is Master Trainer for many aquatic specialties, representing Acquapole, SAF Aqua Drums Vibes and HydroRevolution. She holds numerous certifications including AEA Fitness Professional, Aqua Vida Floating Yoga, Tsunami Fitness Boards, and RM Medically Based Aquatics. She is a StarGuard Instructor and Starfish Aquatics Institute Swim School Instructor Trainer. She is a Presenter at the NYS Parks and Recreation Conferences, SUNY Cortland (her alma mater) Recreation Conference, DCAC Fitness Convention, Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute (ATRI), Association of Aquatic Professional Conference (AOAP), and SCW Fitness Mania Fitness Conferences.
